Landing at the NEC Birmingham from 19 June for a strictly limited 12-week run, Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition invites visitors on a breathtaking journey into ancient Egypt. Expect an 8-metre-high 360° video-mapping spectacle, seated VR experience, interactive metaverse room, and authentic replicas and artefacts from Cairo, an unmissable experience set to captivate audiences across the Midlands and beyond.
Bringing together two leading Egyptologists, the Tutankhamun exhibition is rooted in both academic expertise and compelling storytelling. Chris Naunton, a former Director of the Egypt Exploration Society and renowned broadcaster, is known for making ancient Egypt accessible to global audiences. Alongside him, Nacho Ares, curator of Tutankhamun : The Immersive Exhibition, combines scholarly rigour with powerful narrative, bringing the pharaoh’s story vividly to life.
